Atlanta + Charleston Wedding Photographer

For the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of documenting more than 300+ weddings from intimate celebrations close to home to destination weekends across the world.

I’ve built my work around an instinct for moments: knowing when to step in, when to let something unfold, and recognizing the photograph before it happens. My approach lives somewhere between documentary, editorial, and fine art. I’m drawn to photographs that feel effortless but intentional movement, emotion, beautiful light, unexpected compositions, and the fleeting moments that give a wedding its pulse. I’m not interested in forcing your day into a formula or recreating someone else’s wedding photographs. I want to document yours in a way that could only belong to you.

After hundreds of weddings, I know that some of the most meaningful photographs happen in the spaces no one planned for. The glance across the room. Your grandmother reaching for your hand. Champagne spilling over the edge of a glass. The blur of the dance floor at midnight. The quiet five minutes when it finally sinks in that you’re married. Those are the photographs I’m always looking for.

My experience allows me to move through a wedding day with confidence and intuition, giving direction when it’s needed and disappearing into the background when it isn’t. You shouldn’t have to spend your wedding day thinking about your photographs. You should be completely immersed in it, trusting that I’m paying attention to everything.

While Augusta, Georgia is home, my work has taken me far beyond it. I photograph celebrations throughout the Southeast, across the country, and wherever in the world a story takes me. There will always be another destination on my list, and I’m endlessly inspired by the opportunity to create somewhere new.

Behind all of that experience, I’m still Sarah a wife, mom to two incredible girls, and someone who genuinely loves what she gets to do for a living. When I’m home, you’ll usually find me with my family, our dachshunds Pepper, Pippin and Piper nearby, planning our next trip, finding somewhere good to eat, or settling in for a movie night.
